The newly released Alex Ross cover for May's "All-New All-Different Avengers" #9 gives us our first look at the All-New Wasp.

Newsarama debuted the cover, along with the following solicitation for the issue: "New Story Starts NOW! Introducing the all-new Wasp! Who is she? What is she? And what does she intend to do about Earth’s Mightiest Heroes?"

The All-New Wasp makes her debut in one of two Marvel one-shots released on May 7 for Free Comic Book Day. Chances are she's joining the "All-New All-Different Avengers" cast full-time after the appearance.

While we still don't know the identity of the latest Wasp, speculation builds that it's Hope Van Dyne in the role -- the character portrayed by Evangeline Lilly in "Ant-Man" -- especially since the character from the film is based off the MC2 Universe's Red Queen/Hope Van Dyne, whose costume closely resembles that of this new Wasp.
