Perhaps Supergirl and The Flash should meet up more often.

Monday's highly publicized crossover episode, which brought Grant Gustin's Scarlet Speedster from The CW to CBS, resulted in a 31-percent boost to "Supergirl's" ratings.

According to TVLine, "World's Finest" drew 7.24 million total viewers and a 1.7 rating, putting a stop not only to Silver Banshee and Livewire, but also to the show's four-week decline.

Starring Melissa Benoist, "Supergirl" led all of the night's scripted shows in the key demo, and soared to a four-week high in total audience.

Although network CEO Les Moonves said early this month that CBS intends to renew all five series introduced this season, "Supergirl" wasn't among the 11 pickups announced last week.
