Gal Gadot got the shock of a lifetime when she found out she would be playing Wonder Woman in numerous upcoming films for Warner Bros. and DC Comics. Currently Gadot is slated to appear in four films: "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice," "Justice League Part One," "Wonder Woman," and "Justice League Part Two."
During a recent appearance on "Ellen," host Ellen Degeneres asked Gadot about her audition process. Suprisingly Gadot didn't know what role she was auditioning for, just that it was a film directed by Zack Snyder. Gadot was kept in the dark during most of the audition process. Much to her surprise, she was auditioning for the role of a lifetime.
In the interview clip below, Gadot shares what it was like auditioning with Zack Snyder, screen testing with Ben Affleck, and where she was when she got the call that she was Wonder Woman. Gadot also shares a sweet story about her daughter who would come to the "Batman v Superman" set and watch her mom play "dress-up."
Gal Gadot will make her debut in "Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice" on March 25. Her standalone "Wonder Woman" film will be released June 23, 2017.
