Jeremy Renner says he's open to the idea of starring in a Hawkeye Netflix series.

Appearing at Silicon Valley Comic Con to discuss his role as Clint Barton in the "Captain America" and "Avengers" films, Renner was asked if he'd consider starring in his own Netflix series -- to which he said he's a big fan of the Netflix model, and considers it a great way to explore the character's world, so would be "open to it":

"I think that's actually a really great model, if there's ever a way to explore the character, maybe it's in that world. These are things that are really not in my control, but I'd be open to it. I've really enjoyed getting to explore the character more recently. The Netflix model is where all the character drama goes to now, you're doing a superhero movie or a Netflix or HBO kind of model. So I'd be open to it. Not up to me, though."

You can catch Hawkeye next in "Captain America: Civil War," hitting theaters on May 6, 2016.
