The Lumberjane Scouts will meet the students of Gotham Academy this summer in an unexpected crossover from BOOM! Studios and DC Comics.

Announced this morning in The Village Voice, the six-issue miniseries will be written Chynna Clugston-Flores and illustrated by Rosemary Valero-O’Connell.

There's no word yet about the premise or the title of the crossover, but considering the characters from both "Lumberjanes" and "Gotham Academy" have investigated their fair share of weirdness, it's probably safe to say an offbeat mystery is involved.

Created by Shannon Watters, Grace Ellis and Noelle Stevenson, the critically acclaimed "Lumberjanes" centers on Mal, Ripley, Molly, April and Jo, scouts at Miss Quinzella Thiskwin Penniquiqul Thistle Crumpet's Camp for Hardcore Lady Types.

Debuting in October 2014 from Becky Cloonan, Brenden Fletcher and Karl Kerschl, "Gotham Academy" is set at an elite school, where Olive Silverlock, Mia "Maps" Mizoguchi and their classmates investigate strange goings-on.
