The Punisher is primarily known for taking down criminals through extreme measures, but thanks to NBA superstar Tim Duncan, his symbol has been used for a much more optimistic cause.

As reported by Sports Illustrated, the San Antonio Spurs veteran has raffled the custom Punisher-themed car -- a 2013 Dodge Challenger -- crafted by his BlackJack Speed Shop for charity, earning $60,000 for ChildSafe, a child abuse prevention and treatment non-profit located in San Antonio.

The car -- and Duncan himself -- appeared on a retailer variant cover of Marvel's "The Punisher" #11, released last year and illustrated by Mike Choi. At the time the cover was released, it was announced the plan was to auction the car to benefit a San Antonio-based charity.

The raffle winner, Vicky Mills, received the car on Monday, before the Spurs beat the Minnesota Timberwolves -- the latest home victory for the Spurs, who are undefeated in San Antonio thus far this season.
